Central Thailand

With Bangkok as a major hub in South-East Asia it’s hard to miss the city. Bangkok is not only a ideal starting point for a journey through Thailand or Asia but also a vibrant city with many local markets, impressive shopping malls, dining cruises on the Chao Phraya river, precious temples, fancy rooftop restaurants serving great food. A few kilometers North of Bangkok lies Ayutthaya, rich with olden temples as it was the former capital of Thailand.

More history is to be found in Kanchanaburi, where prisoners of war had to construct the so-called Death Railway, under terrifying conditions. However there is more than history, the sights are beautiful with rough cliffs and green nature parks. Several resorts are situated along and on the river Kwai Noi, proving visitors with fun activities and the rest they need.
