“a green and pleasant land”
What a gorgeous place to land up for a relaxing break in the middle of a tour. Only one night unfortunately, no time for massage. Rooms in separate bungalows, really posh decor in Thai style. Mozzie repellent provided tells a story, but it doesn't work - bring your own DEET. I had the lovely swimming pool all to myself in the early morning. Got woken by pesky guinea fowl, but no matter. Nice restaurant for evening meal overlooking the river (mozzies again - but smoking repellent under the tables). Excellent breakfast with masses of choice and lovely food, even hot tea!

This hotel has lovely lush grounds and is a very nice place to stop on an overland tour enroute to north Thailand.

“Pretty setting, but remote”
We really enjoyed the setting of this hotel. When you check in request room 1 to 4. These are right on the lake and are prettier that some of the other rooms that we saw there. The showers are neat with glas domes and the little verandah is nice place to relax. The grounds are pretty with lots of little pheasants, and we enjoyed a beautiful sunset at the restaurant by the river. This location is a bit out of town but the quiet surroundings are worth it. Breakfast is served in an open air lodge.
