“romantic hideaway”
we went from chiang mai by motorbike to pai and stayed in the pai hotspring spa resort for 3 days. they have several hotspring pools at different temperatures in a really beautiful garden. since we had the bike it was very easy for us to get to pai town (10-15 km) and back. all rooms seemed to be quite privat. we were staying in a super romantic river view chalet with a privat hotspring pool on the terrace. it was very quiet and relaxing, a good hideaway if you just want to enjoy yourself as a couple, not so much to do there a part from that. The facilities weren't brandnew but pretty well maintained. Staff was friendly.

“Beautiful garden setting along the river”
We arrived at our hotel after a beautiful drive from Chiang Mai. This hotel is right next to various elephant ride operations, which we thought was really cool. We loved the garden and the various natural hot tubs. The restaurant alongside the river has a good breakfast and its location can't be beat

“Pai Hotsprings Resort”
We were recommended this resort from a friend in Chiang Mai and it didn't disappoint. We stayed 2 nights and loved it. Because it was low season, there weren't too many guests there but you could tell that even when full, it would be a very quiet and peaceful place to stay. Check in was easy, the room was clean and the breakfast included was great. They even did laundry on site for us for a good price. Because of its location, make sure you have a car/motorbike to get to and from Pai (15 minutes). Would go back again for sure.
