By Train from Bangkok
There are several trains daily from Bangkok which stop in Hua Hin on their way south. Most leave Bangkok in the early to late afternoon and arrive in Hua Hin about fours later.

Many times daily the train leave from Bangkok To Hua Hin . For luxury trip I recommend the train no.43, special express train (sprinter), the train leave from Bangkok 7.45 am and arrive in Hua Hin about 11 am and the trip back , take the train no. 40 leave from Hua Hin about 3.45 pm and get in Bangkok at about 8 pm. It is very convenience, big seat and in the air condition. (ticket = 300 baht).

This green locas bus go to Khao takiab, You can get in the bus at Hua Hin market in central of the town ( at the junction of Dechanuchit Rd across Sra Song Rd near night market area , you can notice 7-eleven shop ) or you can wave your hand along the way when you see the bus coming along The bus service at 6.30 am to 7 pm in each 15 min. (7 baht all distance)

By Bus from Bangkok
Air-conditioned buses leave the Southern Bus Terminal in Bangkok every 30 minutes between 0500 and 2200 for Hua Hin.

The journey takes about 3 hours and costs less than a hundred Baht. The air-conditioned bus terminal in Hua Hin is at the Siripetchkasem Hotel on Srasong Rd, near Dechanuchit Rd, and buses leave for Bangkok every 30-40 minutes daily between 0300 and 2100. Tel: (032) 511-654, 512-543.

“Great hotel and staff..”
The staff and the rooms were excellent! They were really friendly and the rooms was clean and pretty big. We stayed there for two nights as a pit stop. Though if you hire a boat out to Koh Talu the beach there is amazing.
Overall the hotel/resort was excellent with great staff.

We never book in advance when we go thailand then use a last minute site to get accommodation and this was our lucky day. Typical great service and great place to chill.

“Amazing rooms!”
We stayed there in Dec. 06 because the Hyatt (where we usually stay) was booked. The price was right, but when we got there, realized it was so worth the $150.00 a night. The room and decor was so relaxing, modern with a nice asian feel to it. Each of the rooms has a patio/ lanai and it's built over water, very cool! The beach was too rough to go into, especially from the hotel location (it's rocky, which I'm thinking is the reason why it's called "The Rock"), but the pools was nice. Not really deep, but it is an infinity pool and with the ocean as your back drop and nice music coming from the pool lounge area, it didn't get any nicer than that! The service was good. Would stay again!
